Today first marathi movies channel Zee Talkies celebrate 14th anniversary.

Hope there is some competition from Star and Viacom18 soon! Zee Marathi/Talkies has a near-total monopoly in satellite rights. Star got the licence for even Star Kirano but for Pravah Picture the confirmation is still pending.

A Marathi movies channel from viacom18 was in testing phase as eco lution maybe it's Colors Marathi Cinema (launching in near future) and even Star has applied for Star Pravah Picture so they may have plans to launch it in near future.
In upcoming days there will be huge competition between Zee, Star & Colors.
