Long back ago on 12/09/2017 Zee Tamil HD started testing with one program the name called "Kolaveri". After 2018 14th April Zee Tamil tested program called "solvathallam unmai" after successful 1st hd program test started, and year by year they start one programs in hd format. Finally yesterday 08/10/2021 all program done testing . So today our Tamil nadu chif minister launch Zee Tamil HD.

@diwa2020 Why are you in such a hurry,from day 1 of testing on September 12th,some authentic sources saying after 10th october is the official Launch,We guys only asking whatever we feel & guess blindly certain dates & asked Zee Tamil,Poor Zee Tamil FB executives forced to say "Yes" to our assumed date of October 8th ,Surely after 10th before diwali Zee Tamil HD will be launched.

I don't have any reason to see Zee Tamil in HD. I don't know why everyone is so curious about launch. At least Jaya TV has some good Tamil movies. Zee Tamil has very few. I don't know how many will watch it after launch. And I'm sure most won't subscribe to it.

My mom watch a Cooking Show called Anjaraipetti daily & few other reallity shows are really watchable with Vijay TV almost quitting Super Singer Saregamapa Singing Contest which starts on 15 th October might attract a huge Viewers this time towards Zee Tamil HD and most important of all is More than a Dozen of Super Hit Premiere movies like Vikram Vedha,Vanamagan & upcoming biggies like Mersal,2.0 rights is with Zee Tamil HD and Zee Tamil HDs biggest plus is unlike Vijay TV they dont repeat movies mindlessly.So it will be a huge hit.

Yes correct. And one more thing. Jaya TV now don't have power to buy movies. Sun TV also no power. So now movie tender very easy so Zee Tamil buy more movies soon. Already they bought many new movie even Vikram veatha also. After hd launch many new programs comming. Even I don't watch Zee Tamil bz PQ not good. But Zee programs good. If Zee Tamil HD launch many viewers see
