Zee Tamizh launch a new mega-serial ‘Lakshmi Vandhaachu’.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd’s
(ZEEL) Tamil general entertainment channel Zee
Tamizh is all set to launch a new mega-serial
‘Lakshmi Vandhaachu’.

Premiering on 2 February, the show will air at
9:30 pm from Monday to Friday.

The series is directed by Suresh Krishna, who is
known for movies like ‘Annamalai’, ‘Baasha’, etc.
It stars popular TV actress Vanni Boyen in the
lead role.

The story revolves around Nandhini, a girl next
door who is always the first person to help the
needy. But she is facing a big problem in her
own marriage. The way she deals with the
problems will act as an inspiration for many
couples.

A parallel track running in the story will be of
Narasimuthu, a big landlord whose wife has a
severe psychological problem. They have four
children and Narasimuthu dreams of getting all
the four sons married, but the problem is that
nobody wants to keep any ties with the family.

Glad to see zee taking initiatives to bring new serials instead of dubbing old non-tamil serials. Several tamil channels seem to have started to dub other language serials as it is an easy process, instead these people can put some quality short serials from newbie so both the public and the industry are benefited.
