MUMBAI: Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd’s (ZEEL) English general entertainment channel for African viewers Zee World has refreshed its programming with three new series offerings.

From 18 May, the series ‘Breaking Free’ will premiere on DSTV channel no 166, completing the trio of new shows from the channel.

Zee TV South Africa CEO Harish Goyal said, “We are excited to introduce you to our new characters as they go through all the drama and action that you have come to expect from our brand. Zee World prides itself on delivering the best in entertainment for you and your family.

To deliver on our promise, the channel brings you your favourite series in seasons ensuring that you experience the best of our award-winning shows.”

Airing from Monday to Friday at 8 pm, ‘Breaking Free’ will present a story of a young girl called ‘Sugni’, who attempts to change age-old traditions. She aspires to become a bride, desires to be a daughter-in-law, she wants to be a ‘one-man’ woman, instead of someone who belongs to all the men.

The second show ‘Destiny’ will air at 7 pm from Monday to Friday and is the story of a family that depicts the mindset of most of the middle- and upper-class families of the society.

The third show, ‘Eternal Love’, airing at 6 pm, is the story of three individuals Sahiba, Ranveer, and Daljeet, who find themselves in a completely new world where love becomes the driving force.

The three new series offer diverse content to reflect the channel’s attempt at providing relatable entertainment.
