It might not possible in India as Disney and Sony have vast assets worldwide, Approvals needed in multiple countries (like Disney-Fox merger).Yes,
Sony-Star merger best when compare with Zee.
why sony not cancelling this merger after seeing all this frauds about Zee ?This merger is just stripping Zee publicly
If this merger happens they'll gain a lot across all genres/regions. Something Sony has been struggling for a while but always wanted. Long back they tried acquisition of MAA network as well but failed.why sony not cancelling this merger after seeing all this frauds about Zee ?
True if this happens only zee will gain. Sony will face some legal battels. Sony is trying hard and not smart. It should go with star.If this merger happens they'll gain a lot across all genres/regions. Something Sony has been struggling for a while but always wanted. There are two major deals going on in India right now that the companies desperately want to complete, but regulators and financial firms are doing their level best to prevent. That is why they are dragging on and on for years.why sony not cancelling this merger after seeing all this frauds about Zee ?
Zee and Jet Airways promoters have huge personal bank debts as TATAs have nothing. RIL and Disney might not go through merger due to valuation differences. There are two major deals going on in India right now that the companies desperately want to complete, but regulators and financial firms are doing their level best to prevent. 1. The Zee and Sony merger.
2. The revival plan of Jet Airways by the Jalan Kalrock Consortium.
In contrast, the acquisition of Air India (Express) by the Tata Group was very smooth and fast, wrapping up within a few months. Don’t know if that will also be the case for Reliance’s acquisition of Disney Star.
