Following the exit of Joy Chakraborthy, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (Zeel) has elevated Ashish Sehgal to head sales for the entire network.
Sehgal had joined Zeel in 2006 as AVP and was looking after the northern region and subsequently was promoted to EVP sales.
Sources in Zeel confirmed Sehgal’s promotion to Indiantelevision.com.
Last month, Chakraborthy had quit Zeel as executive director- revenue and niche channels to take up his new role as TV Today Network CEO from 1 December.
Prior to Zeel, Sehgal was at Star India, serving as All India Sales Head of Star Gold.
