At a time when most telly soaps drag on for
years, newly launched TV channel, Zindagi,
airs shows of finite length — with an average
of 20-25 episodes.

In fact, the channel, just three weeks old, is
gearing up for the launch of a new show —
Noorpur Ki Rani — after the much-acclaimed
Aunn Zara came to an end. Never before in
the history of Hindi GECs has a show ended in
just 20 days.
Noorpur Ki Rani is an adaptation of the
classic novel Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier.
It's a story of paradoxes brought out by two
characters — Noorie and Princess Rania.
Noorie, a young and bubbly girl who was
orphaned at a young age, comes from an
impoverished background. Yet, she is full of
optimism. On the other hand is Princess
Rania, who's never satisfied with her life.
Their contrasting personalities take the story
of Noorpur... ahead. The show stars three of
Pakistan's leading actors Nauman Ijaz, Samina
Peerzada and Sanam Baloch. Noorpur Ki Rani
starts tonight and will air every Monday to
Sunday at 8.55 pm on Zindagi. Zindagi: New TV channel keeps its promise of new shows every month - TOI Mobile | The Times of India Mobile Site
