Culver Max Entertainment Private Limited, previously known as Sony Pictures Networks India Private Limited, has announced the release of their updated Reference Interconnect Offer (RIO) on January 2nd, 2025.
The new RIO brings channels and bouquets at updated prices. Plus, the launch of a new Hindi movie channel, Sony MAX 1. Culver Max Entertainment Private Limited is set to implement the new RIO on February 1st, 2025.

Culver Max has implemented only minimal adjustments to their pricing structure, thereby maintaining affordability for subscribers contemplating their subscription options. There is no plan by Culver Max to shut down a single channel from their lineup. All the channels are available in bouquets or can be subscribed through a la carte.
Sony MAX 1 is set to be a new Hindi movie channel from Culver Max Entertainment Private Limited, previously known as Sony Pictures Networks India Private Limited (SPNI). The trademark for the channel was registered on December 16, 2024. Reports suggest that Sony MAX 1 will launch on April 1, 2025, with a price of Rs 5.
In contrast, the Sony Happy India Smart Hindi pack has increased in price from Rs 48 to Rs 54. Additionally, the Sony Happy India Marathi pack is now priced at Rs 56, having been previously set at Rs 51. The Happy Smart Bangla pack has also seen a price rise, from Rs 51 to Rs 56, although it now includes the new channel Sony Max 1. These changes may require consideration for budgeting and planning purposes.
