Airtel Digital TV added 6 new channels, followed by Tata Play with 2 new channels in November 2024.

It’s time to analyze the performance of Direct-to-Home (DTH) operators for November 2024. Starting with Airtel Digital TV, the operator added 6 new channels and not a single channel was removed from the platform. Tata Play added 2 new channels but removed 5 channels, which is an enormous number while Sun Direct added 1 channel and removed none.

Tata Play

The additions made by Tata Play on their platform include Manoranjan Prime, and News 9. Tata Play removed Aryan TV National, Australia TV, Desh News, FM News, and Tabbar Hits.

In November 2024, Tata Play provided both Jingalala Afternoon and Saturdays Offer. Besides Jingalala offers, it discontinued FTA Complimentary Pack from its platform and a new FTA pack will be launched.

Airtel Digital TV

Airtel Digital TV has made 6 new channels available namely MH One News, Sadhna Prime News, Dangal Odia, News J, News 9, and News Hour and no channels were removed from the platform. Airtel Digital TV has also raised the prices of channel packs and NCF charges on its platform. There was no Super Sunday sale provided by Airtel Digital TV for the whole November month.

Sun Direct

Sun Direct added News 9 on its platform and did not remove any channels in November month. Sun Direct had no activity during the entire month, except for News 9 channel addition.
