New Delhi Television Ltd (NDTV) on Monday reported the financial results for the quarter ending March 31, 2020. NDTV reported a net profit of Rs 9.2 crore in Q4 FY20, down from Rs 12.13 crore in Q3 FY 20. NDTV has also reappointed Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy as a whole-time director for a period of 15 months effective 1 July 2020 till September 30, 2021 or the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held year in the year 2021.

NDTV reported a revenue of Rs 102 crore in Q4 FY 20, down from Rs 98.29 crore in preceding quarter. Total expenses in the quarter stood at Rs 89.49 crore, up from Rs 85.03 crore in Q3 FY 20. The net profit in Q4 FY 20 stood at Rs 9.2 crore, down from a net profit of Rs 12.13 crore in Q3 FY 20.
On an annual basis, the revenue stood at Rs 392.97 crore, down from Rs 422.36 crore in FY 19. Total expenses in FY 20 stood at 356.08 crore, down from Rs 389.73 crore in FY 19. The net profit in FY 20 rose from Rs 11.36 crore in FY 19 to Rs 27.92 crore in FY 20.
The television media and related operations segment saw a revenue of Rs 91.8 crore in Q4 FY 20 while the revenue in FY 20 stood at Rs 368.83 crore.
