Sony MAX2 is bringing SRK’s debut film ‘Deewana’ on 9th July at 8 PM for all SRK fans to celebrate the glorious 30 years of Bollywood journey of the actor. SRK completed 30 years in the industry on 25th June 2022 and so did his debut film ‘Deewana’. The glorious film also stars Rishi Kapoor and Divya Bharti.
The film ran in the theatres for 50 whole weeks emerging to be a golden jubilee film. The initial screening of Deewana had empty theatres but they started filling up as the word began to spread turning it into a blockbuster hit. The entire first half of the film does not feature Shah Rukh at all.
The film’s first half majorly revolves around Rishi Kapoor and Divya Bharti and SRK enters into the equation in the second half of the movie. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut despite having a shorter screen time. SRK was not the first choice for the film with Armaan Kohli said to be initially approached for the movie but did not go ahead with the same.
