After increasing Binge Super Plan price and launching two Binge Mini Quarterly packs, the DTH operator has added 3 new OTT services under its umbrella. With customers ditching linear TV for OTT, Tata Play is working extensively in making its OTT aggregation service more attractive.
Premium subscription of ManoramaMax, Tarang Plus, and Koode has been added to all Tata Play Binge packs without any new change in their pricing. Tata Play Binge plans aim to cut back on multiple separate bills for the entire family’s entertainment needs. Under a single subscription, the company provides access to all your favourite linear TV Channels along with up to 22 OTT apps which can be watched across multiple devices such as Android, iOS, desktop/laptop, etc.
ManoramaMax is a Malayalam-only OTT service. It was launched on 1 September 2019 and is owned, and operated by MM TV Ltd. It includes content such as Malayalam Movies, MAX Exclusives, and early access to the shows of Mazhavil Manorama except “Udan Panam”.
Tarang Plus is an Odia OTT service launched in October 2019. It is owned by Odisha Television Ltd. It has exclusive TV Shows, Movies, originals, and popular tv channels including Odisha TV, Tarang TV, Prarthana TV, Alankar TV, and Tarang Music.
Lastly, Koode is completely free for all Malayalam OTT service which was launched in September 2020. It does not offer any kind of paid subscription and content lineup includes golden movies of the Malayalam film industry, short films, well-explained lifestyle & travel shows, and more.
