After launching a new ‘HD Box plus Binge Bundled’ Offer, DTH operator Tata Sky on 22nd November has dropped it’s old ‘Bundled Offer’ which was providing a free subscription to Tata Sky Binge for 6 months, first spotted by DreamDTH.

DreamDTH spoke to Tata Sky regarding the removal of the existing Binge offer. A Tata Sky representative said

“Starting from 22 Nov 6 Months Binge Bundled Offer (Rs 4999) has been dropped. The offer was available for limited period.”

In August DreamDTH reported that new customers opting for Tata Sky HD connection at Rs. 4,999 would get an HD set-top box and a free subscription to Tata Sky Binge worth Rs. 249 per month for the first 6 months along with cashback of 2,500.

Later on 15 November, the operator launched another similar offer with just 1 month of free Binge subscription and HD set-top box at Rs 1,499. Now old bundled offer is withdrawn from the operator and new customers can no longer avail the free 6 months subscription to Tata Sky Binge.

Tata Sky Binge is an application hosted by Tata Sky on Amazon fire TV stick, it’s subscribers get 3 months of Amazon Prime subscription, worth Rs. 387 at no additional cost. It enables streaming to a large amount of Over The Top (OTT) content ranging from TV shows, Movies and Catch up from the Tata Sky catalogue.

Tata Sky Binge subscribers can have access to over 5000 titles from the Tata Sky VOD library along with favorite TV shows of the past 7 days. It also offers content in partnership with Hotstar, Zee5, SunNxt, Hungama Play, and Eros Now via a single Subscription.
