Discussion Is Tata Sky an overrated DTH or is really good?

Yes i am a customer of Tata sky from last 7 years , now after their type behaviour in everything forces me to day these words

What they did??
They misbehaived with you in cc chat or call or anything else??

OK, your right at one level I agree , what happens when only beneficial way to consume content is fiber or internet rather than other , other industry to a level of extinction than what is right to do at that time

It felt to be a generic question and answer is simple, ie why we have Technologies. All new technologies emerge when we try to overcome the limitations of the existing. Miles to go before you sleep.

Earlier someone in the forum falsely claimed that the Tatasky provides the DVR on rental? / subsidized rate of Rs.10300. Where are on earth a DVR is that costly?! - a Thai pdt! You get a very advanced Xcruiser HD STB for just under 4K. Add to that the price of HDD. Thats it.
One can only pity on the Tatasky advisory panel, R&D?, design team, CC and the "loyal sheeps".

The funny thing here is that TATAsky wanted TRAI to acknowledge that its subscribers are suffering. Tatasky customers.

For the record, there is a blockout of my subscribed ch.653 (Rs.90) from 23rd july to till date. My complaint is "on hold" or "under observation" at times. One can find a pattern with BSNL and Tatasky, the sinking ships.

As Ishan pointed out, only 'Jio' can bring the much needed order to the chaos. Meanwhile TRAI can work on the STB/DVR inter-operability to disrupt the DTH market (think mobile-number portability!).

Why are persons why don't you anything to company are they having any kind of rights to dictate or over rule customers , what you of leaving we will soon do that JIO FIBER is our area and full fledged services available to us , then Tata sky will run after its customers (play dirty tricks by finding out faults in others services ) and reacting like what telecos are doing today , after days or months , then I will ask you who needs to change ok

Well well I am using tata sky from almost 5 years no doubt the picture quality is good but ever since I am using JIO TV HD on my smart TV have almost unsubscribed most of the channels of TS picture n audio quality is pristine bright sharp n sound is high definition. JIO logo transparent
Getting this exclusive preview soon others will be able to enjoy

PVR's price is justified. It comes with inbuilt 500 GB hard drive. If you buy Airtel's Internet TV + a 500 GB hard drive. It will be more expensive.

Many times they do when they did not have any reply of my questions , they try these tricks, even complaints not got solved by back end even after calling customer on its request they message back to me that your company has been solved now, happy viewing every time this worst company does these tricks
