The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) is sitting upon 110 applications for MSO licenses at the end of July 2020, down from 116 MSO licenses at the end of June 2020. The statistics were revealed as part of the -monthly performance statistics published by the Ministry of Information Broadcasting (MIB).
The Ministry in July received 9 new applications for MSO licenses, up from the 8 applications it received in June. The Ministry processed 15 MSO licenses which DreamDTH reported yesterday, up from the 4 MSO license applications it processed in June.
The number of pending MSO license applications with the MIB at the end of July now stands at 110, down from 116 it had at the end of June 2020 in the pending status. The number of pending MSO licenses is the lowest since November 2019 end when only 101 MSO licenses were pending with the MIB.
The number of newly filed applications for MSO license between April 2019 to July 2020 now stands at 224 while the number of approved MSO license applications between the same period stands at 114.
