At the end of Q3 2021-22 or December 2021, the Ministry was sitting on 16 applications for TV channel licenses for more than a month. The same dropped down to 7 TV channel license applications pending for more than a month with MIB at the end of Q4 2021-22 or March 2022.
At the end of Q3 2021-22 or December 2021, 48 applications for TV channel licenses were pending for more than a month with other ministries. The same dropped down to 43 TV channel license applications pending for more than a month with other ministries at the end of Q4 2021-22 or March 2022.

The Ministry during Q4 2021-22 received 11 new applications for permission for a TV channel license whereas during Q3 2021-22 the Ministry had received 9 new applications for permission for a TV channel license.
