Sad News 11 JioStar Channels going to Shutdown w.e.f 15th March 2025

They could've revamp like they do every once in a while for channels like Star One.

People say youtube and jio savan are alternatives but youtube is so irritating unless it's premium and whether Jio Savan telecast Video songs? Mtv beats was running better than 9xm, 3 hours of non stop music at 8Am, flashback,desi melodies.....it was having very unique method of telecasting
Vh1 on the other hand we all know was actually their exclusivity,.
I really want to meet the concerned authorities of jiostar and discuss this shutdown

I have YouTube Premium which I use as an alternative to Vh1 because of kpop. It's still irritating. Algorithm is just not as good as it gets credit for. It tries to push similar or popular songs.

Decade back we had dozon of music channels including sony mix ( I miss it badly), presentation of sony mix was at another level, all the credits of song (movie ,lyricist, musician,singer, ) were displayed at the time of playback, later the same method was followed by it' s sister channel Rox HD, and currently mtv beats was the only channel to telecast the songs in that passion
The kind of presentation I will miss on tv now

WHy don't they shutdown star plus and star gold & convert them into star sports Hindi 4 , star sports Telegu 10, ?so irritating this star sports numerology and their multilingual thrash sports channels
What u said about Roko is absolutely correct, add Dhoni in the list, star sports network is Pr team of these 3 players, also the love which you people flourish on IPL encourages them more, there will be the time when these sports channels count will go to 100 & they will be telecasting 2011 ,2024wc finals & 2025 ct final all day long in each and every language of India

sony made IPL but star is enjoying the benefits of it, they got lucky with it becoz they have lot of money so IPL will stay with them.

What u said will happen soon but before shutting down star gold and star movies useless channels they will shutdown remaining good channels they have like hungama, super hungama, nat geo, nat geo wild, history tv, disney intnl, colors infinity, etc.

They will turn all these channels into star sports bengali, nepali, srilankan, bhutani, chinese, odia, malyalam, bhojpuri, marathi, etc they will find as many regional languages as much possible so that they dont miss out on a single drop of money, as they say its all business at the end of the day.
