When they will shutdown CCI proposed channels?


Colors Cineplex Bollywood and Superhits recently bags DD Free Dish slot for 1 year. So, no chances of shutdown, but might get rebranded.

Colors Cineplex superhits- star gold family/ comedy.

One thing we forget is that the Broadcasters are Content Providers and we are content consumers, And it is very much a fact that Content Providers dictate what Consumers Consume and not that Consumers decide what Providers provide.
Yes there's some 'feedback' system but it doesn't matter, broadcasters do what they want to.

No matter how much we get annoyed, frustrated, how much we rant, fill hatred towards broadcasters, distribute that hatred all over social media, only thing we can do is that is to decide whether to consume the content provided or not, nothing else.

Colors cineplex bollywood, colors cineplex superhits, star gold select SD/HD, star movies select SD/HD, rishtey cineplex, colors super, colors marathi SD/HD, star bharat SD/HD, star plus SD/HD or colors SD/HD will be lay off. As of now JioStar has not made any changes in genres like Kids, Bangla, Marathi etc.

CCI's decision is genre-wise and will not have any impact on the closure of channels of other genres.

Definitely am a zee fan but am not targeting any broadcaster. But yes I opposed this merger. Ambani ruined star channels already. Jiostar has massive bollywood library which can be aired star HD channels. But they are repeating some handful movies. According to me this merger is a huge big disaster.
