they r just saying it not promising it
neither they have provided us any date or speculative time
anyhow v all know that at some time the channel count wud reach to 500

@Parateek: What did you find wrong? We have the forums to share these kind of information only. As and when we are seeing something about a DTH, we are posting here. No problem in that. Please don't define any news rules to the forum.

Thank you Deep brother...I also saw this article now in the newspaper. This is published on page 7 of the paper you have mentioned. They say the number of HD channels would reach soon to 50...and 12 HD channels will be added soon with total number reaching to 500 channels.
What is little confusing about the language is...they say 12 HD channels will be added and they will contain Gujrati, Assamia etc etc (mentions all kind of reasonal languages). Whereas we hardly have any HD channels in these languages...but anyway the news is surely published.
