Prasar Bharati has decided to conduct 14 th online e-Auction for filling up the DTH slots for the DTH Service of Doordarshan¡¯s DD Free DishTM on 11th & 12th August, 2014.

The e-Auction will be conducted by M/s. ITI Ltd., New Delhi on behalf of Prasar Bharati (DGOORDARSHAN).

The reserve price is Rs.3.00 Crore., but the participation amount (EMD) in the 14 th eAuction (2014) is Rs.1.50 Crore which will be deposited in advance on or before 11-082014 (Monday) latest by 12:00 Noon alongwith Processing Fee Rs.10,000/- (Nonrefundable) in favour of PB (BCI) Doordarshan Commercial Service, New Delhi and also two separate Demand Drafts favouring ITI Ltd., payable at New Delhi amounting to Rs 2247/- valid for a period of one year as e-Auction registration charges to get User ID and Password in the e-Auction website and e-Auctioning Agency Fee Rs.8427/- as participation payment to the ITI.Ltd. The applicants must provide their e-mail Address, Contact Numbers & Uplink/Down link permission documents received from the concerned Ministries with the Applications otherwise their application will not be entertained in any case. The demand drafts of unsuccessful Bidders will be returned immediately or within a week after the e-Auction process is completed.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR 14 TH ONLINE E-AUCTION TO BE CONDUCTED ON 11TH & 12TH AUGUST, 2014. 1. Prasar Bharati (DGoordarshan) will conduct 14th online e-Auction on 11th (Monday) and 12th (Tuesday) August, 2014 for 06 DTH Slots for the placement on DD Free DishTM Platform. 2. The Reserve Price per DTH Slot is Rs.3.00 Crores. 3. M/s. ITI Ltd., New Delhi will conduct the 14 th online e-Auction on behalf of Prasar Bharati. 4. The following formalities should be completed for participation in the e-Auction: All the interested channels should submit Uplinking and Downlinking permission from the Ministry of I&B alongwith the Application. Participation Amount is Rs.1.50 Crore (Rupees One Crore and Fifty Lakh) only, Demand Draft in favour of PB (BCI) Doordarshan Commercial Service, New Delhi. Processing Fee (Non-refundable) Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) only, Demand Draft in favour of PB (BCI) Doordarshan Commercial Service, New Delhi. Every e-Auction will be of 30 Minutes duration. 8. Additional 5 Minutes will be added if the bid is received before the closing time of each e-Auction. 9. Next Round of e-Auction if held will be conducted after 15 Minutes of every each round of e-Auction. 10. The successful channels will be placed on DD Free DishTM Platform with effect from 16-08-2014. The EMD Drafts will be returned to the unsuccessful Bidders within a week or immediately after the e-Auction is over. The Successful channels are required to deposit the balance amount of EMD Rs.1.50 Crore and Service Tax on prevailing rates within One Month from the date of placement of their channels on DD Free DishTM . The Balance Bid amount should be deposited on or before 15 th February, 2014 i.e after Six Months from the placement of the channel on DD Free DishTM failing which the EMD Rs.3.00 Crores will be forfeited and the channel will be discontinued from DD Free DishTM . Prasar Bharati reserve the rights to accept/reject/cancel the eAuction/slot at any time during the e-Auction or after e-Auction.
