24 hr Malayalam children's channel from Oct 16

Chennai, Oct 14 (PTI): Sun Television Network's first 24 hour children's Malayalam channel "Kochu TV" will be launched on October 16. "Kochu TV will be the first and only to 24 hour kids channel in Malayalam, targeting children in the age group of four to 14 years with regional and international flavour, versatile and rich mix of programming which includes cartoons like Jackie Chan adventures, He-Man and pre-school contents", SUN TV Network said in a statement. Sun TV Network will launch the channel from October 16 onwards, it said. The programmes are designed to engage and stimulate the children's imagination during their early years, it added.
