If I'm not wrong, there is no restriction in Sri Lanka for any channel that wants to enter Sri Lankan market. Sri Lanka has no list of TV channels that are allowed or forbidden. For example in this news article http://tvradiosrilanka.blogspot.com/2011/03/rbnl-looking-to-expand-to-sri-lanka.html:

Its not official Website of Broadcasting Ministry of Sri Lanka and link too is wrong :u but I think they should have such Downlink Policy in a Country. Such Rules only create for certain reasons i don't wanna go in deep we all knows that. I don't think for TV Channel it so easy to enter in a Country without legal permission.

I didnt find yesterday or today in Test 24. Nobody even posted here.. if so please show me the post /link of post..
Perhaps it was in Earlier testing period months ago..

many new sri lanka channels like csn, derana, sirasa tv, vasantham,, hiru tv, etc added and replaced test channels.

csn showing ipl live

so we can expect launching of dishtv sri lanka shortly.
