Last year there was news that Russia is planing to launch dth service in Pakistan

Yes its true nd It has also some Offices in Pak but yet not got any Approval From Govt.

Unofficially Dish tv already has many Pakistani channels and offering services here

I think Cost factor will also play an main role i think in whole world Indian DTHs are chepest :huh :k

Because I have seen USA DTH Direct TV Pacakges its so Costly Starting from 30-40 Dollar per/month to 100 dollars per/month :s

you are absolutely right brother that's why they are entering 3 players to make market more competitive

here in Pakistan we enjoy around 500 channel and services along around 40 HD channels only paying 1000 1200 per month

Yes it is difficult to get 38*E (C band) ,Because every body don't have 6ft dish. Now it is possible to get some fta on small dish ...

To get all Pakistan channels 3 4 dishes are required like many channels are on asiasat and Paksat and Is20 but with DTH we can watch all channels on same place
