NBA rights are owned by SPNI in india. If they ever showed it on ESPN, it was their decision. All sports rights that Sony owned will still be owned by Sony.
Anything unique that ESPN brought, like X Games etc. will go away with Sony ESPN channel demise..

Star can only benefit off that football review show and ESPN Cricinfo out of all current ESPN offering in India. Meanwhile expecting SportsCenter to return.
