The only reason is poor distribution.

If they could add Balyabharat Odia to Odia channels category on all platforms they could get good viewership.

Launching dedicated kids’ channels in 12 different languages, that too for a network which operates almost exclusively within the Telugu market, was always going to be a bad decision. Audio feeds are the more sensible choice. When even Star Sports has been planning to shut down its Marathi and Bengali sports channels, what chance does ETV (which already has a lot of distribution problems) stand? This is a sensible decision as nobody could watch the dedicated channels or the HD channel anyway, and the main ETV Bal Bharat SD channel is the only one that people know.
Exactly. Moreover, ETV Bala Bharath channel available on DTHs contains 12 different audio feeds. When there is a single channel which provides different audio feeds, then what is the need of launching the same channel offering almost the same content in a particular regional language?

An appreciable decision made by ETV Network. ETV Bala Bharath SD and ETV Bala Bharath HD providing different audio feeds is enough (though the HD feed hasn't been added on major platforms).

The Telugu broadcaster has placed six of its non-South Indian ETV Bal Bharat regional-language channels on the chopping block, but the language feeds on the main channel will continue.
