Which cable wala carrying all channels.. as far as i l know they carry less channels then DTH..

For your kind information Cable TV add new channel very frequently. Fastway, Hathway, Den, etc are examples of many. DTH add channel very slowly even TV channel prefer cable TV that's why some channel are available on all cable TV platform but on very few DTH services.

first of all cable tv topic should be discussed in other threads not in this one.. also me and my friends experience with cable tv is pathetic.. frequent cable line cuts during rainy season and windy seasons also channel count is very less.. also HD channel count is very very less.. cable tv is just for ppl who cant afford dth service cost..and are happy with just limited number of channels.. so any day i will prefer DTH over cable tv..

Local channels showing same repeated stuff that are present in every other channel otheriwse.. so no use of local channels..

If I would have appreciated Tata Play for this move there is nothing wrong. I don't understand why you DTH lovers get triggered whenever someone discuss about Cable TV?

So, it's not fault of entire cable TV industry but your cable operator is not good better stuck with your DTH.

Wait are you talking about DTH services? Because, as I've seen DTH are the first to run out of service whenever it's clouds out there.
Cable TV has no cut at all, maybe again your cable operator fault.

Wait what? Just look at the list of channel available on Fastway platform. Many of them are not even available on big player like Tata Play.

Many can afford service cost anytime but still like Cable TV. You know why? Because, the cable operator is just call away, most cases he is friendly so understand our preferences. Again saying your local cable operator experience is not good doesn't mean entire cable industry work same way.

Wait! Let me clear you I'm from Rajasthan and believe me I've watched lots of regional movies on Padharo Sa a local Rajasthani channel only because of Cable TV.
Many local HD and SD movie channel showing movies from Bollywood, Hollywood, Punjabi, South Indian dubbed. Many Hollywood channel are showing in English only.
Where we have to subscribe to watch live darshan of temples cable operator give access to watch national and local temples. For example, Fastway Radiant is showing darshan from Ujjain Mahakaleshwar, Jaipur's Moti Dungari Ganesh Temple, etc.

Conclusion from my side is that, if your operator is good and have good MSO signed. You must try cable TV.
And, if your cable operator is third class service provider and you are in remote area go for DTH.

Cable Tv service is pathetic in my area because there's no other MSO like Fastway, hathway or NXT digital. So most of the customers prefer DTH specially Tataplay & Jio Fibre in my city.

Tata Play is rocking these days. I don't think any Dth will come close to them (channel count) in near future.

People will shift from Dish tv or Airtel to Tata play

Only 1% chance if Dish TV and D2h started using same satellite with more space in future.
