:no bro, south beam wont carry any x rated channels, it never has on abs1 south beam too. :'(

The results of performance testing ABS-2 satellite

Dear customers, Please be informed that the test characteristics of ABS-2 satellite has successfully completed. During the tests were confirmed by calculated high energy parameters of the satellite. Translation channels ABS-1 on ABS-2 will begin in accordance with the approved schedule.

I m hoping signals wud eventually increase, when they start with actual transmission.

27th march, the 1st migration wud happen from abs1 to abs2, and we will start to loose out on existing chnls. :s

GTSS completed technical tests ABS 2

Company GTSS (GeoTelecommunications) successfully completed all the necessary technical tests on the new telecommunications satellite ABS second During the tests were confirmed by the calculated parameters of the satellite.

Successful tests allow the movement of the satellite on ABS 1 ABS 2, in accordance with the original plan. The commercial launch ABS 2 is scheduled for Thursday, March 27, 2014.

Ku-band capacity on the satellite ABS 2 in the Russian union will use the Russian pay TV platform Raduga and probably more customers from Russia and CIS countries. 2 ABS is also available Ku band transponders in other volumes (MENA, south, SAF, India, South Korea).

ABS 2 has a total of 89 active transponders in C, Ku and Ka band. Total of 10 different volumes cover. The satellite was delivered Ariane 5 of 6 February 2014.
