Seeking Help Add channel option in user settings menu

What is this Add channel Option. Can we add FTA channel running on Gsat and Insat?

That option is locked in Tata Sky boxes, it will give no channels found or no information available error message if you try to scan.

That option is locked in Tata Sky boxes, it will give no channels found or no information available error message if you try to scan.

I still don't get the purpose giving a feature if it's locked.
