My ADTV is just 3 months old. The remote has developed some problem. Battery is dying within 1 Day. Changed Batteries 3 times since 3 days. I called ADTV CC for the same but they said remote is not covered under warranty and you need to pay 150 Rs for the same. Is that True?

Yes bro, it's true. They will give you a new remote for ₹150 but without batteries, you need to purchase them separately.

In the past remote charge was 170+50 and there was 1 year warranty. Now they made the cost 100+50 and no warranty. However new connections may still have warranty. So when you ask cc try to say that the connection is new and the whole setup has 1 year warranty. Worth one more try.

I had a problem with STB recently wherein I also exchanged my old remote. So visit charge was only for STB and 50 rupees charge for remote was waived off.
Also I paid 100 rupees for the new remote and it came with 2 batteries.
I was left wondering about the quality of the remote though, since 2 AAA batteries themselves cost 20 rupees.

My Remote was replaced. I just paid the service charge of 50 Rs to the service guy. He said they will manage it with the company as free replacement.
