DD -Sports channel already there. It airs mix language sports. Hindi & English together. Then Live Cricket on DD -National as well. What else you want ? Plus Star Sports 3 atleast for watching the matches even not understanding the Hindi commentary.

His expectation is correct. Both ss1 and ss3 are showing same event most of the time. Instead of adding ss3 adtv should add ss1 so that all the people of india will understand. Now they added ss3 which will be useful only for Hindi speaking people.

You guys should remember that most of the people commented that adding more south channels in base packs is waste since not all can understand. This is also like that. How many south people can recognise Hindi commentary like muqabla, killadi, bakki, pehla over etc.....???

It would be much better if Airtel just took a slab based subscription fees based on number of channels:

eg:

upto 50 channel= Rs.100
upto 100 channels= Rs. 200
over 100 channels = Rs.300

Then sell each channel at broadcaster price directly payable to the broadcaster separately. this method will rationalize price and stop stupid Airtel from shoving us useless channels down our throat. Hope at least TRAI forces ADTV and others from controlling subscriptions and give back the control back to users. Most frustrating is the unfair pricing caused by ADTV and not because of actual price of the broadcaster. This whole business of leveraging certain channels by ADTV policy stinks of nexus between certain players.
