Airtel systems under maintenance from 30th sep 24 to 25th oct 24.

With every maintenance, the timeline keeps increasing. Almost one month of maintenance.

Remember the times when erstwhile Tata Sky performed maintenance activities every other week and ultimately later on its subscribers got the happy news of additional bandwidth being made available alongwith many new channels and other things.


Airtel is also likely performing such maintenance activities to expand its offerings as well as employ various other tech related infrastructure to improve the quality of service and put bandwidth + other things to optimum use so that subscribers get best experience.....nothing to poke fun at if one tries to understands things from a wider perspective

Remember when pre 2015 and sometimes before GSat24 activation erstwhile Tata Play too used to carry out such maintenance activities on a regular basis and later on customers got a surprise with additional bandwidth / transponders added similarly Airtel too is surely some major changes / upgradation work hence soon Airtel Digital TV customers might get to hear lot of great news

Last year too i had stated that Airtel surely is planning some big changes and hence things r taking time bcoz be it addition of certain channels or LCN Realignment etc... These have to be done following a proper process and operator cannot make such changes without getting approvals from broadcasters be it thru signing updated RIO agreement with required LCN placement order or other such things

Post completion of current round of maintenance activities on 25th October let's hope on October 26 or November 2 we get some good news on channel addition and other things
