This model Airtel Xtream box has worst options in terms of audio controls. It has no optical port to connect home theatre sound like Sony HT IV300.

IV300 has an HDMI ARC port and 2 HDMI input ports. What's the exact issue you are facing? Why do you need Optical port?

HDMI ARC port is meant for tv connection and other two input port meant for dth/ any other hdmi devices. But the real issue is if i connect adtv box to HDMI 1/2 it has to be selected each time. Means first in tv i have to switch input to hdmi 1 in tv then in sony ht again hdmi 1/2 then it will take a settlement time. That too heavy. In this scenario there wont be any sync issues. But if we connect the ADTV box directly to TV and then tv supplies audio to SONY HT the process is smooth but audio video will be out of sync. You can override this by connecting optical audio from ADTV box to HT box there wont be any lag in audio video sync. But there is no optical out in this version of ADTV xtream box .

It depends on the number of devices you have and how you want to manage them. If you have a Sony TV, the inputs should switch automatically without any manual intervention. And, in the second option, If you are experiencing an audio delay, please get your HDMI cable verified and try replacing it with a good quality cable as needed.

One more thing. IV300 has numerous known issues, even on this forum, you'll see similar complaints on this particular model. It might be a better idea to look for a replacement HT. Optical ports are mostly gone and may not be coming back.

If your tv supports HDMI cec ( almost all smart tv do) , please enable the hdmi cec in the settings of adtv. Connect adtv to normal hdmi port of the tv and then from tv to HT connect to the HDMI ARC port.

Adtv > TV > HT (arc port)
Since hdmi cec is enabled, TV will automatically select the adtv post boot, you don't need to select manually
