STB : Videocon d2h (Only HDMI,RCA Port) Latest Model
HT : Sony HT IV-300 (Bought Newly)
TV : Panasonic (1*Optical, 2 * HDMI both HDMI ports are non ARC )
STB Audio Settings: Dolby Digital ( have Dolby Digital,Stereo PCM ).

Scenario 1: Connection Type: STB->HT (HDMI) Then HT->TV (HDMI).

When I Switch the channels with dolby audio to Non dolby audio channels , The audio disappears and HT hangs no buttons working on HT remote, need to Power down and Power Up all devices again (TV, STB, HT). I tried changing HDMI Cables as well Still no use,.

Scenario 2: Connection Type: STB->TV (HDMI) Then TV->HT (Optical).

In this everything works fine and now Dolby audio from STB passing to HT from TV through Optical, But I am facing one more issue, which is audio delay only for Dolby Channels, issue like First picture is coming then Audio (In TV SPDIF OUT Set to AUTO as only have two options for my TV Auto and PCM ). I also changed Optical cable.

Please Suggest the Solution for both Scenarios if possible.

Note: If I enable stereo on STB , no issues for Both scenarios , But my intention is get Dolby Audio from STB .

EXACT SAME issue here in my Dish HD+ STB (has only HDMI & Optical Port)

I didn't find any way to listen stereo channels while 5.1 mode is on, now just using Stereo mode in the DTH settings.

I'm suggesting you one more way, it may work

connect STB to TV via HDMI
connect STB to HT via RCA or RCA to AUX cable

or purchase a HDMI splitter and Connect both your TV & HT with STB directly!

No Bro , ARC is not a must , It will only useful when your HT has only one HDMI port , So you can connect everything to your TV and Pass it HT .
Even HT Manufactures says connect you HDMI Source directly to HT , instead of pass through audio by TV HDMI ARC as there could be loss of quality.

Thanks for Suggestion but
1.) RCA or RCA to AUX cable : It can not pass the 5.1 Dolby Digital Audio
2.) HDMI splitter : It's working but quality loss.
That is the reason I am trying achieve solution only by mentioned two scenarios on Post

Audio delay Setting is having 0 to 300 , which will delay the audio when Audio first then Action , But in my case Picture first then audio, for this setting should be on negative values like -1,-2,-3 etc which will not be available on present days.
So Sad. It seems Hardware issue.

But in my case Picture first then audio
same happened to my Airtel DTH few months ago when I first connected it to my 2.1 speaker.
tried audio delay setting, tried plugging off then again insert cable, nothing worked.
Then I changed the MODE on my Speaker, from AUX changed it to CD mode, now audio is not that late, but still few ms delay is present.
