Amala Paul of Nanna fame has been roped in to play the female lead in Ram Gopal Varma's Bezawada Rowdeelu. The actress will share screen space with the film's hero, Naga Chaitanya. It may be noted that she is a much-acclaimed actress in Tamil, whose recent film Vettai in Tamil won her plaudits from Superstar Rajinikanth himself.
The 20-year old actress began her career in 2009 with the Malayalam movie Neelathamara. However, it was Mynaa (Tamil, 2010) that won her awards and she never looked back.
