Amitabh Bachchan returns to Star Plus in October

Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has been signed up for Star Plus’ new weekly talk show, which will air from mid-October, BizAsia can exclusively confirm.

The show, which is based on the British show ‘Tonight’s The Night’ will feature show-stopping acts from world-class artists with once-in-a-lifetime performances that make people’s dreams come true. The Indian adaptation will also include celebrities.

‘Tonight’s The Night’ will mark the return of Bachchan to Star Plus. He was last seen on the channel as a host for ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ in 2005.

The show is yet to be filmed and a timeslot will be announced in the coming days.
