Correct me if I am wrong. ANI was a news channel. I watched this channel on our analogue cable as a kid. That's why got confused when it turned out to be a news agency.

Actually if I correctly remember different news channel specially English news channels at that time had snippets from ANI with white color in the bottom. There was no channel in India I guess.
