Sun TV Group likely launching Hindi News channel

They have no capability to run news channels. Due to this they have closed 2 news channels I.e Gemini News and Udaya News in south.i don't think that they will launch news channel/s .

Asianet is owned by Jupiter Capital. It was founded and owned by Rajeev Chandrasekhar, who is a member of the BJP and an outgoing minister. The journalist clearly mentioned that the group is associated with a regional party in the south.

Then why it can't be an E-TV group as it is also associated with a regional party in the south??

Maybe it can be E TV, but I'm not sure that there is a news report that RIL holds the right to use the name of ETV in all other markets other than Telugu (which they have changed into News18 and Colors, respectively) and holds a 49% stake in ETV Telugu channels. (Correct if wrong.)

Considering this, I feel it'll probably be Sun Group.
