Past the white sand beaches and the idyllic turquoise water lay the 3,000 islands and islets of the Bahamas, scattered across nearly 170,000 square kilometers of the Atlantic Ocean.

From within subsea caves and underwater canyons to rocky outcrops, just above sea level, the geography there is alive and dynamic. Bahama Blue is the Bahamas beyond the beaches.

In its new series ‘Bahama Blue’, Animal Planet takes viewers to explore worlds where everything is eating…or being eaten, but fierce competition gives way to playful and funny creatures. Bahamas is a magical place where plants are sprinkled with shimmering dust and seahorses feed, almost without fear.

Captured in 4k cinematography, combined with intimate aerials, extraordinary macro photography and signature ‘tide lapses’, the show kicks off on 1 June and will air Monday to Friday at 10 pm.
