I think they're showing it to hide some old banner because they don't cover such large area to show a upcoming program details just like they added Kasauti Zindagi Kay banner in Saathiya which can be seen currently on Star Utsav.

On 17 May Star Utsav Saathiya Shows "Watch Anupamaa From Tonight" Tag, so that utsav 17th May's episode was aired at 16 March on StarPlus but, at Last moment Anupamaa Launch get delayed.
