Yes, I was using it when I had cable connection. I had 400db amplifier @250Rs and 600db @ 450 Rs from Lajpat rai mkt, Delhi.

How was the quality with both of them, was there a huge difference?

I too used one.. Got it from Richie Street.. But there is no improvement to be seen by eyes.. But when I connected the output into SCV set top box, I noticed there was an improvement in signal strength but not in quality, which actually degraded the digital output quality from set top box. In analog there was no improvement/degrade even we are getting increased signal strength..
