Seeking Help Anyone here using C band Dish for FTA Channels? 2025

Back in late 90's and early 2000 we had big C band dish and I am wondering if people still use it at home for FTA Channels. I know cable operators use it for Downlinks etc but since people in this fourm are advanced DTH users and now that DTH prices are skyrocketing if anyone has this setup or planning for it.

Now there is no fun in C-Band dish, 5G signals from telecom towers interference with reception, you have to buy expencive LNB which is not worth and popular channels which house wifes and other elderly people watch like serials and other shows are not avilable in free to air catagory.
Better buy Ku band dish and watch DD free dish which got tons of free to air channels especially for students and news watchers and few 24/7 hindi movie channels , carton channels for kids and some music channel and also DD channels programs are always good on any given day now a days you get few HD Channels also , If you are looking for any regional News channels then watch on YouTube if avilable.
