MUMBAI: Baba Ramdev’s Vedic Broadcasting is planning to expand into the regional space with the launch of devotional channels in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.

Vedic owns and operates three channels namely Aastha, Aastha Bhajan, and Vedic. The third channel, Vedic, was launched in August 2017. It also runs Arihant through a separate company called Aastha Broadcasting Network.

“We will soon launch Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam channels. The infrastructure is ready for the channels to go live,” said Baba Ramdev, who is also the founder of FMCG company Patanjali Ayurved, said at the launch of Aastha TV’s mobile app.
