They didn't discontinue Jodi Show.. They did one season in 2016 after so many years, and next season in 2018!
But these seasons didn't match the quality of their initial seasons, and also they didn't build the franchise like what they are doing with Super Singer!

Jodi will come up with another season for sure.. But I want the show with a better quality like their initial seasons..

For any reality show to build franchise what is most needed thing is continuity....they needs to continue licensing new seasons whether ratings of last season is good or bad

But I don't think Jodi and Super Singer shows needs licence, they are not international format shows right?

We should kinda wait because StarPlus is not at that stage to bring any reality show. But I hope they will not discontinue it.

Btw when all singing nd dancing shows are mostly similar then why only sony singing nd dancing show became hit nd not others?

Because they have that image of being a Reality TV Channel & StarPlus is for Fiction. It needs to break.

I dont think it will break....colors is only channel who is managing fiction nd non fictions really well

How it will break when STAR will not bring their Reality TV programming every year. That's the main reason. Just look at Masterchef, it came after 3 Years. Is that valid? NO, they need to schedule their reality programming properly.
