Star Maa is Premiering new movie every Sunday thats one reason and last Sunday they Premierd Rangasthalam movie which got high TRP ratings.

Star Maa is the overall first in the Star network. Now it is getting too far from the other Telugu channels just like Sun TV is too far from the remaining Tamil channels. Colors is nowhere in the top 10 despite Bigg Boss.

Other Hindi GECs have one or two big shows that get all the ratings and leave little for other shows. For SET it is KBC. For Zee it is KB and KB. For Star Plus, YRKKH and Kullfi Kumarr.
Also notice in the urban chart that Star Bharat is nowhere in the top 10 shows. The top show is No. 14.

I think all the current serials and programs of Star plus is performing good along with two serials in top 5.Thats why they had a high gross trp. Others had one or two popular or big budget shows that give them a boost in trp as you mentioned above. Earlier it was like that Star plus was the leader with no(min 1) show in top 5.But this time colors couldn't make changes with Biggboss.
