HD channel subscribers r in single digit percentage figures in present indian tv universe , english channels have limited audience and this tiny affluent base has access to both feeds hence gets reflected in ratings with minor gap

Bhai, do u know Dangal used to get upwards of 3.5 lakh or more impressions each week even when FTA channels from established broadcasters were part on DD Fresh Dish? So is not like their content is not liked by audience or they r only getting TRP bcoz people have no other option, though exit of major players has boosted their standing which is a fact.

Older Shows, Movies, Music were far superior than what is dished out today, even youngsters enjoy classic stuff hence it is misconception that only thru airing latest content channels can get ratings

Star Vijay Super is yielding better than Star Vijay. A channel which is less popular then after rebrand now in top 5 with decent ratings could able to beat Colors Tamil,Jaya,Kalainger etc.

Iknw they used to get 3.5lakh impressions but others such as zee anmol star utsav used to get 7lac nd rishtey sony pal used to get 4to 5 lac which is way higher than 3.5 lac plus this channels is on freedish nd now on freedish there are very less options available so obiviously ppl will watch dangal in anyway nd abt todays shows they are available on paychannels ppl always tends towards things which are free thats y dd freedish channels tops charts but that doesnt mean they have good content
