But it's losing in Marathi. Colors is climbing upwards in Marathi. Zee kannada's new show Kamali gains good response which might have fuelled the growth. Zee might surpass colors kannada in a month or two. It's so premature to say now, but the chances are high.

It will be interesting to see how zeel builds it's GEC in Malayalam. With colors Tamil failing to make huge impact, let us see if zee could make it in Kerala, a market similar to tn

Compitition is mainly for 2nd spot.For atleast one year Zee can't challenge Asianet.Non fiction or other good shows won't work here(as per barc, may get good reasponse in social media) since Mazhavil manorama and Flowers is doing better job in reality shows. Good or bad Asianet serials are preffered by women. If Zee plays very bravely they can defeat Asianet taking some time.In brief Asianet is almost like Sun tv in tamil, mazhavil and flowers are like Star vijay and zeetamil on the basis of fiction and non fiction.

First private channel in their languages.
Both completes 25 years.
Longrunning with same logo.
Good or bad both their serials are most watched.
Only their movies and programs enter top 5.
Have the biggest movie library of the region.
Both of their ratings are double or triple of the second one.
Mazhavil manorama-Star vijay
Spending more money for the quality and presentation
Experts in reality shows.
Trying hard for a victory in barc, but can't get that they worth.
Movie library almost same
Now both aggressive in buying movies
Flowers-Zee tamil
Zee tamil and flowers are newcomers towards vijay and mazhavil,but got the achievements of the others rapidly.
One give competition for other in non fiction.
Doesn't means the compared channels are exact copies. Just pointed out their common fearures respect to the market.
Surya tv exhibit some features of Sun tv. But doesn't have a constant behaviour. They are worth for watching movies. Amrita,kairali,etc are like jaya,polimer etc.
Both Asianet and vijay are from star but different styles. Not forgetting the time when Asianet is a fullpackaged channel upto some years ago,they have all type of viewers with them that time.
