Guys plz reply, Does 2233 hd box support DD Sound thrgh HDMI if yes, il exchange my box wt this model.

I didn't experience the box. But yes, it will support since they did a software update even for older boxes to support DD through HDMI.

How to test this in my STB 2233 (Dolby Digital through HDMI)? When I keep Surround Option in TV Settings, audio is very low. So always keeping that in 'STEREO' mode only and I don't have Home Theater System.

Even in Home Theater, the volume is low on HD channels comparing SD channels. For some channels, the issue is from channel end (like Sun TV network HD channels).

I have HDDIGISTB2222 gives dd through hdmi, my tv shows dd logo when i select dd in d2h remote. I have also tested with my home theater.

Are u able to get clear 5.1 dd sound in ht bro? And when u press the yellow button to get dd sound, does it get mute? What's the diff with stb 556?

Yeah i get 5.1in ht when i press yello button. Only thing is i cant control the volume using stb remote when it is in dd mode. I have connected mt ht to tv's optical out, my tv is able to deliver 5.1 output.
