I dont think it has anything to do with north or south india, may be they want to increase the south india viewership share compared to other dth's, hence providing few extra channels which other dth's do not have in their south packs.

But Bro why ROI user pay Rs. 355 PM for English News Channel atleast Gold Sports users deserves 1 or 2 English News channel, Rs. 300 PM is not a small amount Bro.

they say south is a price sensitive region(correct me if i am wrong) and hence they offer a bit more than roi i guess, but yes for 300 more basic channels should be provided.

I don't criticize d2h here take it as a comparative way:
Super Gold @ Rs. 280 dishtv
English News Channels: Times Now, CNN IBN (ORC), Al Jajeera, CCTV, France 24, NHK World, RT, DW (DD Free Dish) if you remove 4 english news channel of DD then also dishtv giving 4 news channel from their TP.
But you guys not getting @ Rs. 300 Pack
Also no English Movies channel @ this pack
But we are getting ZEE Studio, HBO, WB, Star Movies, UTV World Movies (ORC), Sony Pix, Movies Now, Romedy Now.
Take it as a comparative way.

Buddy. They have a lot of crap channels which are carriage fee paid channels showing teleshopping. That's why the count is high. This doesn't mean they can refrain us from our rights. We are getting many Malayalam , Telugu, Tamil and kannada channels which are no use of us.
