Race 3 & Paltan are already premiered on Zee Cinema. Why they're calling it as a premiere?

&Pictures always shows their movies are premier. Like Dhadak promos shows more than one month as &Pcitures Premier

But this time Zee Cinema is doing that & that too for it's own premiere i.e both movies are already premiered on Zee Cinema.

Salman Khan Judwaa Rights own from Star to Colors..

Currently Cineplex HD showing Judwaa

Brother, this is a complex web. Movies keep changing hands every few years, also some channels share content.

Star and Viacom or UTV and Viacom r 2 cases where u find maximum sharing. So one hand movies like Dabangg, Hera Pheri, Ready, Soldier, Khatta Meetha , Hulchul (2006) etc. whose rights r with Star , they also air on Rishtey Cineplex and not only that Viacom18 has bought exclusive rights of many movies previously held by Star like Kaal, Ishk Vishk, Kya Kehna, Main Hoon Na etc.

Similarly many movies produced by Viacom18 get premiered on UTV too alongwith former's own channel. To name a few like Tevar, Brothers, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil etc.

Not to forget some movies keep shifting from Star to Zee and vice versa. Nayak, Ishq, Tarzan , Sholay landed from Zee to Star few years back while Zee grabbed their favourite actor Akki's Bhagam Bhag, Houseful and other movies like Partner, Pyar Kjya Toh Darna Kya, Wanted from Star India.

These things keep happening and there r lot of factors or reasons contributing to such moves. Just to tell u that Star's exclusive partnership with Sallu bhai has ended and Zee is new home for his forthcoming 5 movies so now rights of his old home productions have started residing with Zee

Earlier:
Salman=Star,
Aamir=Sony (until PK),
SRK=Zee and
Akshay=Viacom18.

Now:
Salman=Zee,
Aamir=Zee (since Dangal),
SRK=Zee and
Akshay=Zee.

Also add Kapoor and Sons. Both Cineplex HD and UTV HD show it.
2 channels airing same movie at the same time.

Note that Sony does not appear even once in your post! Three things will never leave the Sony library:
  1. YRF movies.
  2. Goldmines movies (and also the great Baahubali franchise).
  3. Sooryavansham.

It will be a huge loss for YRF if they doesn't leave Sony.
And Aamir's old movies didn't typically air on Sony. Ghajini premiered on Colors. Even Salman's old movies aired on Sony.

Well Sony is busy freeloading their current library of bollywood movies too. Murder 2 is now with UTV similarly Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega, Ishqiya, Joru Ka Ghulam etc. now with Cineplex. Sony is not interested in getting new Bollywood movies now, they r doing good just with YRF, acquiring south indian dubbed titles from Goldmines at lower cost and recent contract with films distributed by T Series. Few times they get hold of movies from independent producers too. Max2 though has been refreshing and sprucing up its library of classic bollywood movies from 50's to 2000's on a regular basis.

Sony used to get satellite rights of Dharma Production movies too until 2012 as these were distributed by YRF too but later Viacom partnered with Dharma and that agreement is still ongoing. Sony did not even renew rights of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, K3G or Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna and Star grabbed these rights thereafter, now even Star India's contract has ended and Viacom has these titles

Example: Student of the Year, directed by Karan himself. Another example (not well-known): We Are Family.
as these were distributed by YRF
This is true for some Dharma movies like Dostana (2008).
but later Viacom partnered with Dharma and that agreement is still ongoing.
Examples: HSKD, BKD, Kapoor and Sons, OK Jaanu, ADHM. Zee is also there: Dear Zindagi, Dhadak.
