I guess Laila Majnu will premiere around Valentine's Day and it's a must watch. Also Mitron is a nice film. Due to improper promotion, absence of big stars and limited release these movies did not perform well at box offfice but TV Premiere will be sureshot success.

Must admit that Zee Network's movie acquisition arm is very active and intelligent in acquiring maximum good movies bollywood rolls out thru the year

In any year, it's Zee who acquires the most movies, whether big or not. Look at my Excel list. Surprisingly, despite Sony having largely given up on Bollywood, it gets more movies than Viacom (since 2017). (Post #2222)

This is true for some Dharma movies like Dostana (2008).

Examples: HSKD, BKD, Kapoor and Sons, OK Jaanu, ADHM. Zee is also there: Dear Zindagi, Dhadak.

True for all Dharma Production movies till 2012 barring few exceptions like My Name Is Khan which was produced with Fox Star hence Star India got privilege to get the rights.

Among the first 4 films directed by Karan, all were with Star a few years ago. Then the first three (KKHH, K3G, KANK) were sold to Viacom but MNIK is still with Star. Is this (Fox Star) the reason?

Colors bought around 7- 10 new dharma production titles..& also they bought old dharma production titles like Kal ho na hi, Kuch Kuch hota hai...
After this deal UTV movies stuck deal with Colors ...as first Colors will premiere new titles then UTV will have airing of all new Colors titles. EXAMPLE: Kapoor & sons, humpty Sharma, etc.

Race 3 & Paltan are already premiered on Zee Cinema. Why they're calling it as a premiere?

Race 3 had only HD premiere, so rightly they call world tv premiere when first time shows in SD which they are doing from long time first HD & then on SD. And did Paltan got premiered already when?

&Pictures always shows their movies are premier. Like Dhadak promos shows more than one month as &Pcitures Premier

Yes bro it just a premiere for the channel that's why they call it "&pictures Premiere" not "world HD/TV premiere" for movies which previously already showed in some other channel

As zee is very agressive in acquiring rights, the ala carte price of zee cinema SD is 19 which is the costliest in the genre.
